Roxspur Measurement and Control has been appointed UK sales agent for the PMC stainless-steel, flush diaphragm pressure transmitter range. The latest products from PMC include a smart pressure, level and vacuum transmitter for slurries, liquids and gases.
With rugged stainless-steel housings, the units are particularly suited to corrosive and acidic environments, providing sealed, submersible housings, which also suit hygienic applications. Standard fitting uses a 5.1cm tri-clover connection. The Hart protocol allows easy access to the configuration, test and detailed set-up of the transmitter, and the electronics can be remotely mounted away from the sensor for submerged or otherwise inaccessible sensor locations.
PMC has specialised in providing rugged stainless-steel pressure transmitters since 1963, originally developed for the paper and pulp processing industry. Since then, the non-clogging flush mounted designs have been adopted for use throughout the food processing, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, particularly on slurries.
