Absolute Vacuum Services reports that it has now moved in to the laboratory vacuum pump and freeze drying sector. The company will carry out servicing on pumps (including oil sealed laboratory rotary vane pumps) and associated equipment from all manufacturers, either in house and on site. The hourly rate is still at £37.50 per hour both in house and workshop.
Recent portfolio pump repairs include Javac, Ilmvac and KNF pumps. For Thermo and Modulyo Edwards freeze driers, Absolute Vacuum Services offers system rebuilds including compressor replacement and regassing. The company will regas the old compressors with new EU regulation CFC-free refrigerant. Further, the company boasts over £30k of service kits and associated BOC Edwards spares on its shelves for both customers and service engineers.
