Evidencing the quality of its overall vacuum and pressure product range, Teseo srl has won an international design award for its AP 50 modular range of compressed air distribution systems. The award, presented at the biennial Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) exhibition in Milan, recognised the AP's innovative design, ease of installation and assembly and its environmental credibility - it is almost totally recyclable.

The judging panel, which was chaired by Pierluigi Molinari a lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Design and Architectural Technology at the Polytechnic of Milan, selected seven finalists which also included blue chip businesses such as ABB Sace and Honeywell. The AP50 was researched and developed by Teseo's in-house design team led by Paolo Guzzoni (pictured).

Pat Connolly, managing director of Teseo UK said: "We are delighted for our colleagues in Italy; this is a significant international accolade. Unlike many competitor products which are outsourced, Teseo designs and develops products from prototype to finished product, ensuring quality and integrity from the beginning of the process. We have high expectations for the product and this award will certainly help us with our marketing initiatives."
