BOC Edwards has opened a new European headquarters in Grenoble, France. The company has transferred its European semiconductor team from Crawley to Grenoble to be closer to key customers in this well known semiconductor cluster. The move also comes after the acquisition of BOC Edwards by the Linde Group. BOC Edwards has relocated 50 employees from its sales, business management and applications engineering functions to Bernin near Grenoble. The company also intends to hire for technical positions in engineering, project management, and service and support, and to increase its presence in key markets such as the photovoltaic industry, compound semiconductor devices and outsourcing services.
