One of the UK's largest independent bearing, power transmission and fluid power distributors, BRT Group, has been appointed a Premier Stockist by Festo. The appointment grants the company's Fluid Power Division exclusive distribution rights for Festo pneumatic products in Wisbech and the surrounding areas.
Stuart Gittins, Festo sales manager for distributor and end-user teams, says: "BRT Group is a highly professional, service-oriented company with a 40-year history of meeting its customers' needs. Its Fluid Power Division, PremAir, has expanded significantly in recent years and offers an extensive portfolio of pneumatic products and services - which is now set to receive a further major boost."
Grahame Allen, fluid power sales director for BRT Group, says that he is delighted that the company has become a Festo Premier Stockist. "Our PremAir Division carries fluid power components from a number of prestigious manufacturers, and Festo's pneumatic products fit well within our portfolio. We have invested heavily in a major stock holding program covering the full range of Festo pneumatic products, as well as in extensive technical product training for our staff, and confidently expect to provide our customers with an even faster level of service."
In addition to its own stocks of Festo products held at its Wisbech headquarters, the PremAir Division also now gains direct access to over £33 million worth of stock held at Festo's European Customer Services Centre in Germany. As a result, the company is now able to offer customers same day or next day delivery of Festo products.
BRT Group has recently renovated the trade counter at its Wisbech headquarters and is in the process of significantly upgrading its website, which is now located at www.brt-group.com.
