International pump distributor Tomlinson Hall has received a top accolade at the prestigious Pump Industry Awards 2008. The gala dinner and awards evening was held at the Hilton hotel, Coventry and welcomed over 200 guests including many of the pump industry's leading international manufacturers, suppliers and distributors. The awards recognised technical innovation, energy saving advances and specific recognition was given to the Young Pump Engineer of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Supplier of the Year and Distributor of the Year.
Tomlinson Hall, established in 1919 as a general engineering company, now a specialist manufacturer and distributor for pumps, power transmission equipment and engineering supplies, celebrated as the only independent distributor to be nominated for the title of distributor of the year, awarded for technical ability, advice, customisation of special needs and delivery/service, and went on to beat hundreds of distributors to become one of two finalists.
