Beko Technologies has appointed Steve Riley as General Manager of the Beko UK operation. Steve will be responsible for launching new Beko products, developing the company's sales force, managing the marketing activities and supporting its established distributors.
Joining Beko with over 30 years experience in the compressed air industry, Steve has worked with some of our distributors and more recently worked as the UK sales director for one of our competitors. Steve has sold all types of compressed air products and most types of compressed air treatment equipment.
"It is evident to me that businesses can do well in difficult times but they must have either strong values about the way they serve customers or a product range that customers believe in. Happily Beko are strong in both these areas. We have a strong range of products which everybody knows but we also have some new products that are ready to take off. I am very pleased after meeting a few of our key customers that they invariably rate Beko as one of their top suppliers," says Steve.
Beko also reports that Chris Norris has returned to the company as the Regional Manager for southern England. He will be responsible for promoting sales and service by determining the specific needs of customers and overseeing existing sales within his territory. Having spent 26 years in the business Chris has extensive knowledge of air equipment and of end user business applications, which will prove invaluable in his management role at Beko.
Chris started his career as a Technical Engineering apprentice at a major compressor manufacturer; he then moved to an air treatment company and worked his way up to Area Manager responsible for service and after market activity within the southern region. He was responsible for co-ordinating a team of six engineers, supporting all group products and alternative competitor products. His career has taken him to countries such as India, Ethiopia, Croatia, Russia and many more.
"With Beko's continued growth I was flattered and excited when I was asked back to join the team. The people within the Beko team are matched by the superb product range they have to offer," says Chris.
Beko has developed over the years from being known as just selling condensate technology to establishing itself as a complete product- and systems provider for compressed air treatment and condensate management. An independent, family owned company with 15 sales offices and 3 production sites worldwide.
