Archfact has introduced a new range of low voltage vacuum pumps and compressors. The new Aimspump units are suitable for direct connection to a 12V or 24V DC supply, such as a battery. This is achieved through the use of an on-board, integral drive circuit to provide the pulsed current necessary for the operation of the pump. This gives the user the flexibility to use the Aimspump range in applications where low voltage and product portability are required.
Designed and manufactured by Archfact, the patented Aimspump is a variable displacement linear piston air compressor or vacuum pump. With few moving parts and a sealed construction, the Aimspump is said to give superior noise performance when compared to rotary, geared and cranked pumps, commonly used at low voltage. Further, the lubricant-free design and the reduced number of moving parts add up to a durable performance over long periods. Servicing the unit is quick and easy thanks to the simplicity of its design.
The low voltage vacuum pumps can provide a maximum vacuum of between -200 to -600mmHg. Yet the pump weighs in at only 800g and measures just 120x80x80mm. The new range of pumps complements the existing range of mains powered units.
