Bambi Air Compressors has enhanced its popular Compton range of vacuum pumps and compressors with new low voltage options and increased scope for custom built units. In addition to the 110V AC and 220-240V AC single-phase and three-phase options, the Compton vacuum pumps are now available for 12V and 24V DC supplies, making them ideal for a host of new OEM applications. The extremely wide range provides an ideal pump for almost every application, but the modular design also means Bambi can readily build custom units to match precise OEM requirements.
Competitively priced, the Compton pumps combine a compact footprint with high flow rates (up to 46 L/min for two stage versions) and terminal vacuum to 914mbar. The pumps are continuously rated for long periods of operation, making them suitable for a host of demanding applications. And because they are designed to run oil-free, they meet the stringent environmental requirements of applications such as drinks dispensing, gas sampling, instrumentation, hospital beds and aeration systems.
Compton vacuum pumps operate on a unique diaphragm principle that guarantees high performance, low noise, long life and excellent reliability. The long term reliability of the pumps is further enhanced by the use of high durability stainless steel valves and large, high strength main bearings (which are sealed for life). And the pumps have also been designed for easy field servicing, including the replacement of the diaphragms, further extending their operational lifespans.
