DC compressors and vacuum pumps are now available from Durr Technik for 12, 24, 48, 72 and 110V supplies. The vacuum pumps offer an end pressure to 150mbar (85 percent) and a suction capacity of up to 61 litre/min.
The KV8 and KV15 series of small DC vacuum pumps of the KV8 offer oil-free and maintenance-free operation, and have the same extended lifespan as Durr Technik's compressors. And the company says that running with DC motors does not affect the 100% duty cycle or the low noise levels enjoyed with the AC voltage series of compressors and vacuum pumps.
