Diaphragm pump is humidity resistant

Gardner Denver Altonvisit website

With the new model series 2119, Rietschle Thomas has solved the problem of valve corrosion in pumping gas media containing humidity. The two-staged diaphragm pump deals easily with humidity and also to small amounts of condensed water. It is designed for use in steam autoclaves, vacuum ovens and vacuum mixers.

Rietschle Thomas engineers solved the problem by using umbrella EPDM valves instead of the common but corrosion-sensitive stainless steel valves. Also all aluminium parts of the 2119 are protected against corrosion by an epoxide coating. The pump console is plastic injected. It reaches a free flow of 19 litres/min and a maximum vacuum of -900mbar, and is available in nearly all world voltages.
