VAT Vacuum Products reports that its new generation aluminum gate valve family has grown. Smaller-sized DN 63, 80 and 100 valves have joined the previously available larger-sized valves DN 160-320. The family is offered in two series: series 12.1 with ISO-F or JIS flanges, and series 08.1 for direct mounting between DIN flanges. The design of both valve types is largely identical and therefore the parts diversity accordingly small. VAT says this allows it to offer the valves at very attractive prices.
The valves have a number of outstanding features. The smart split body design allows quick and easy maintenance. The valves also offer a high cycle lifetime. They are well suited for vacuum systems requiring extremely low particle count and virtually shock-free operation.
A wide range of standard products with a selection of sizes, actuators and flanges is available. Customer-specific adaptations such as ports in the valve body, heaters for valves, or protective coatings on the valve body can easily be realized.
