To meet the ever more demanding high-cycle requirements of semiconductor equipment manufacturers, whilst offering researchers a cost-effective solution for UHV system roughing, Nor-Cal Products has introduced a new series of valves available with either aluminium or stainless steel bodies.
The JV series valves are rated up to 10 million cycles, have a small footprint and offer a wide range of options. In addition to the standard pneumatic actuation, JV series valves offer a unique manual actuator for course throttling which allows partial opening by specified and repeatable intervals. Further, electromagnetic actuators are available for portable or table-top systems that do not have compressed air available.
Body styles include right-angle and in-line from either low cost aluminum or stainless steel. Both the right-angle and in-line bodies are available with KF 16, 25, 40 and 50 flanges. Other options include position indicators, 'snap-on' coils on electromagnetic actuators, and special o-ring materials.
Nor-Cal Products has been improving valve designs since 1962, constantly expanding its product line to offer valves for almost every vacuum application.
