Becker says it has revolutionised the rotary vane principle, developing a completely new type of rotary vane pumps that require even less maintenance. The extremely long maintenance intervals really make the advantages of contact-free systems apparent - and all this together with a guarantee!
In the new E PV series, the piston rotates in an elliptical enclosure. As a result, there are now two fully independent compression chambers instead of just one as previously. These can be used together or separately in various combinations. Whether operating under vacuum, pressure, combined mode or even a double combination of pressure and vacuum, almost everything is possible.
The EPV series allows air flow rates from 2x 40m3/h to 2x 100m3/h and achieves final absolute vacuums of 100 mbar and overpressures of +2.0 bar.
In contrast to twin shaft vacuum pumps and compressors, these units operate 100 percent oil-free (no drive gears). The single-shaft design and the number of compression chambers ensure low pulsation levels for vacuum and/or blast air and low noise levels.
The revamped design and modified piston-enclosure arrangement make it possible to guarantee a service life of 20,000 hours. Significantly larger filter surfaces in the intake filters result in noticeably longer maintenance intervals. The degree of filter contamination can be easily detected in the transparent filter covers.
