Cincinnati Test Systems says that the new Sentinel I-24 is its most technologically advanced leak test instrument. Proprietary test algorithms processed on an advanced 32-bit system make the I-24 the fastest, most repeatable and most accurate leak test instrument on the market, according to the company.
The Sentinel I-24 provides a host of advanced features as standard. The unit is multi-test configurable for any test requirement, covering pressure decay, vacuum decay, pressure gain, mass flow testing for flow capacity or leak rate, and pressure differential. It also offers sequential testing capability, and can handle up to 99 part programs.
Simple to set-up, the unit offers a one-touch teach function. You just connect your part and push the 'auto setup' button, and the I-24 does the rest. It requests the basic test pressure and leak rate information. It also tests the part to analyse its characteristics and optimise the test cycle for the best resolution and test repeatability. This evaluation determines the pre-fill, fill, stabilisation, test and exhaust timing that best suits the part within the desired total cycle time.
Auto calibration ensures accurate results and easy operation, and the unit features an environmental drift correction function that adapts to changing conditions, including temperature.
The Sentinel I-24 is available in both wall mounting and bench top versions, and both feature the same intuitive menu system and bright VFD display that is easy to read in any lighting. The bench top model comes with all of the same advanced features as the wall mount model, and can be configured for front or rear test port location, according to the needs of the application.
