New from Mil's - and fully designed and made by the company - is the Sirella series, a range of claw type vacuum pumps that are compact and quiet. The Sirella pumps are available in suction or overpressure versions, and they provide contact-free and oil-free compression.
By running contact-free and oil-free, the pumps need a minimum of maintenance and are suitable for a range of applications where the elimination of oil is highly desirable. Typical application areas include food processing; indeed, visitors to the recent CFIA Food event in Rennes, France or the PPT Food show in Hertogenbosch, Holland, would have been among the first to see the new pumps.
The Sirella 100 offers a nominal capacity of 95m3/hr, an end vacuum of 50mbar and a continuous vacuum of 150mbar. The pump runs at a quiet 78dB(A) and weighs 140kg. The larger Sirella 150 offers a nominal capacity of 1453/hr for a quicker evacuation, an end vacuum of 50mbar and a continuous vacuum of 150mbar. Noise level is 79dB(A) and the pump weighs 150kg.
