Rietschle Thomas says the advantages of its contact-less and maintenance friendly claw design meet the demanding requirements of the woodworking industries. With their high efficiency and stable suction capacity, these vacuum pumps are ideal for frequency control.

To meet the high requirements of woodworking industry, the company now offers the ZEPHYR VLR 251 - tailor-made especially for this application. This claw type vacuum pump is equipped with an easy-to-access filter housing and a special limitation valve for dusty applications.

Depending on the operating hours, Rietschle Thomas claims a return on investment can be achieved within one year because of low maintenance requirements and very low energy costs compared to other pump types that are normally used in woodworking applications.

Dry running claw technology was introduced to the Rietschle product range in 1998. Two new sizes have been added in the last two years - the ZEPHYR VLR 60 and VLR 150.
