Micro pumps are intrinsically safe

Parker Hannifin Pneutronicsvisit website

Parker Hannifin's Pneutronics Division has announced the release of six new standard part numbers available for online ordering in the micro series T2-03 and T2-05 miniature diaphragm pumps. Highly power efficient, and suitable for pressure or vacuum operation, the pumps now feature intrinsically safe motors, and are compatible with a wide range of chemicals

Parker designed these micro pumps to reduce overall package size and extend battery life for portable or handheld OEM gas analyzers and medical instrumentation. The intrinsically safe motors in the T2-03 and T2-05 make them ideal for use with aerosols, gases, and vapours in hazardous environments.

These products are part of Parker's T Squared brand miniature diaphragm pumps, known for dependable performance and compatibility with a wide range of media and operating conditions. The T2-03 operates from a 12.4V DC supply, is manufactured in silicone and neoprene, and delivers vacuum to 18inHg. The T2-05 operates from a 3.3V DC supply, is manufactured in ABS and EPDM, and delivers vacuum to 12inHg. Flow rates are up to 2.5 l/min, and the smallest physical package weighs in at just 14g.
