The SV630 B is a new product of the Sogevac range of single-stage oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps manufactured by Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum. With an effective pumping speed of 630m3/hour, the SV630 B can reach an ultimate total pressure lower than 0.08 mbar with closed gas ballast.
Thanks to the modern machining methods, lubrication and gas ballast functions have been integrated in the main parts. Among other benefits, this allows cuts down the number of required parts and gaskets, so reducing reduces the risk of leaks and increases reliability. Furthermore, the company claims the noise level is the lowest on the market for this type of pump.
Maintenance operations are simplified thanks to an easy access to maintenance points, but the frequency of required maintenance has also been reduced thanks to better lubrication and an operating temperature lower than for the previous generation.
As all the other models in the Sogevac range, the SV630 B can be customised in several variants depending on specific needs. Options include different motors, different inlet and exhaust flanges, and a range of oil types and gas ballast variations.
