Finemech is now offering the Thyracont Smartline series of intelligent vacuum transducers, including the VSH82 Pirani/hot cathode and VSM72 Pirani/cold cathode models which employ a patented technology to deliver high levels of durability and a wide pressure measurement range.
The sensors employ Thyracont's patented impulse Pirani with extended measuring range which activates ionization sensors only below a very low pressure threshold. This protects the sensors and improves gauge life.
Offering measurement down to 1x10-9mbar, the gauges have been developed to meet the increasing demands for functionality, precision and reliability in a wide range of vacuum applications.
The devices are compact, metal-sealed sensors. They have low thermal and electrical influence on the vacuum process, and are insensitive against shock venting. Separate gas correction factors for each sensor ensure correct pressure readings.
