The Gast Group's range of compact, single and mutli-stage vacuum generators are the low-cost, economical alternative to traditional vacuum pumps and are ideal for applications such as aspiration, volatile vapour evacuation and other applications where pump size, noise level or high temperature environments mean that vacuum pumps cannot be used.
The range consists of 27 chemical and corrosion-resistant models capable of achieving up to 27inHg (99mbar) with vacuum flow rates from 0.3 to 268.5m3/h (0.2 CFM to 158 CFM). The patented single- and mutli-stage designs offer several options including high-vacuum, high-flow and combination high performance. Severe duty versions are also available in chemical resistant anodised aluminium, with viton seals and valves to handle aggressive gases.
The multi-venturi design improves efficiency and means that the units are capable of achieving 90% vacuum (27inHg against a barometric pressure of 29.92) while attaining high vacuum flow rates. The vacuum generator extracts the maximum amount of energy from the compressed air source to optimise the level of vacuum generated.
No moving parts ensure long life and minimal maintenance. Lightweight construction and ease of mounting provides maximum operational flexibility and, as with most products from the Gast Group, bespoke versions can be manufactured to special order for OEM quantities.
