Keller has released the LEX1Ei intrinsically safe, battery powered digital pressure gauge, which has ATEX approval II 2 G EEx ia IIC T6 and is suitable for deployment in Zone 0 hazardous areas. Pressures between vacuum and 1000bar can be measured using the five standard pressure range options. The LEX1Ei is a digitally compensated instrument.
Errors attributable to sensor nonlinearity and temperature effects are virtually eliminated. The standard gauge provides an uncertainty of measurement of +/-0.05 percent FS and this can be improved to a precision of +/-0.01 percent FS with additional factory calibration.
