Becker has announced a new line of side channel vacuum pumps with integrated frequency inverter. The VASF series is characterised by low power consumption (high efficiency), small size, low weight and low noise.
The integrated frequency inverter significantly enhances pump performance, matching the vacuum generators exactly to customer requirements.
For maximum flexibility, the VASF provides a host of control and monitoring interfaces including analogue in/out (0-10V, 4-20mA), digital in (start/stop), RS485 and CAN/CANopen. Users can also specify optional DeviceNet and Profibus interfaces.
The specification of the VASF series includes a pump certified to UL1450, and a motor certified to CSA C22.2 No.68, UL 1004. The pumps are suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures from -10 to +60degC, and in humidities from 30 percent to 80 percent.
